VHPCC strongly condemns the recent violent incidents
The Victoria Hindu Parishad and Cultural Centre (VHPCC) strongly condemns the recent violent incidents at the Hindu Sabha Temple in Brampton and the Laxmi Narayan Temple in Surrey. These disturbing events, involving clashes between protesters and worshippers, are entirely unacceptable in Canada, a nation that values religious freedom and peaceful coexistence.
As an organization committed to fostering harmony and understanding, the VHPCC emphasizes its dedication to nonviolence and protecting all community members. We firmly believe in every individual’s right to practice their faith freely and safely while respecting the beliefs of others.
The VHPCC calls upon all Canadians to reject such divisive actions and instead work towards maintaining the peace and unity that define our multicultural society. We stand in solidarity with those affected by these incidents and urge authorities to take appropriate action to prevent future occurrences.
Let us reaffirm our commitment to mutual respect, dialogue, and the shared values that bind us as Canadians, regardless of our diverse backgrounds and beliefs.
